Headley Park Church began in January 2007. It is a partnership between Crossways Tabernacle and Kensington Baptist Church.

Crossways Tabernacle had been serving Headley Park for 60 years, but needed strengthening as the congregation had become elderly.

Kensington released 40 members and 14 children to relaunch the church. Neil Todman and Peter Mawson were called as the new Church’s first leaders.

Since 2007 we have remained committed to being a part of the Headley Park community, including being a part of Headley Park School’s summer fair.

We have initiated a neighbourhood watch group and host the police community beat surgery weekly.

We have also begun regular activities for all ages including a coffee morning and a youth club.

About us

At the beginning of 2011 we launched a satellite church meeting at Zion Hall in Bedminster Down.

Bedminster Down Church opens its doors from 10.20 am and the service starts at 10.40 am. During that time we also run a group for children called Hero Club which is suitable for children of primary school age.

The church is led by a team including Neil Todman, one of the church’s pastors, among others.
