Morning Services are now live

Morning Services are now liveMonday 10th August 2020

Posted by Headley Park Church

We are thrilled to be able to hold morning services in the building again, and to be streaming these services live on YouTube.  Capacity in the building is very limited, so please contact the church office if you would like to attend (see bottom of page).  We will then allocate places for each service.

The morning service will be shown live on YouTube and will be available watch afterwards.  We’re also running events on Zoom such as Virtual Coffee after the morning service, an Evening Service and prayer meetings.  More details are available on our church calendar.

If you do attend in person, we must follow the current guidelines:

·  Wear face masks (except the person leading or preaching)

·  We must not be within two meters of those outside of our own household or bubble.

·  We must not sing or raise our voices.

·  We must try not to engage in conversation with those outside of our own household or bubble.

These rules apply to the whole of the church site, including the car park, so they must be followed as people arrive and leave as well as during the service.

At the morning service there will be no creche or children's clubs, but there will be a slot in the service for "Homestart", our lockdown version of Headstart.  Instead of singing we will watch pre-recorded songs and there will also be no refreshments after the service.

The government guidelines advise all those who are shielding for health reasons and all those over 70 years old not to attend places of worship.  We also know that for other reasons people may not think it is the right time to return to a worship service.

A detailed document on the precautions we are taking on Sunday mornings (including risk assessment) can be found here.
